Hello There! Friday!! Friday!! Friday!!!
My kids already started school 3 weeks ago. I can't say that I envy them, but boy do I
wish I could go back and do a few things differently. Like the way I dressed back then. It may have been the thing then (or we were too
stupid to notice), but it sure isn't the thing now. You know there are some styles that you did
back then that has made its way back around.
Well the stuff I wore could never and will probably never make its way
back...to ME! I was such a tomboy! I am going to search for the pics so that you
can see that I am not kidding! However,
I must say, girls now do not dress like the girls did back in my day. They dress wayyyyy to provocative. School for us was fun and not all about the
boys. Well, maybe that’s how it was
for me because I was such a tomboy. But my friends were not all about the boys
and didn’t dress so sexy and like they were already women. We still dressed like girls....boys, in my
case...lol I used to wear my brothers clothes...He didn’t know. And then I used to run home from school to
put them back before she saw me...He eventually caught me :( So where was I going with this?....ah, yeah, this outfit. It reminds me of school...hahahahahahaha! Old age I tell ya!
Ur soooo right... these kids these days... But I def dont allow mine to dress that way... I looove this look tho... very stylish!!

DeleteThere was that 'grunge' trend that drove me nuts. There was zero femininity to it, I recall. So glad ruffles, toile, lace, peplums, tight jeans and leggings saved the day for us gals to look like females again. This outfit is charming on you. Those leggings are tremendous! Hey, I love the 'torn notebook paper' borders, too.
